The Delegation of the RA National Assembly, which comprises of the NA deputies Hrant Bagratyan, Elinar Vardanyan, Edmon Marukyan, Arpine Hovhannisyan, Gagik Minasyan, Chief Adviser of the Speaker of the National Assembly Vrezh Gasparyan, Deputy Chief of Staff-Head of Secretariat Tatul Soghomonyan, Head of Legal Department Hayk Sargsyan, Head of Public Relations and Media Department Arsen Babayan and Head of Economics Department Artur Tamazyan are on a cognitice visit in the city of Hartford of the State of Connecticut (USA) within the framework of the Support to Armenian National Assembly Program (SANAP). Today, within the framework of the visit the Delegation of the RA National Assembly visited the legislative body of the State of Connecticut. During the visit the American counterparts presented the history of the building of the legislative body to the members of the delegation acquainted them with the works of the committees. They also visited the budgetary and legal offices, where the exhaustive answers were given to numerous questions of the RA NA Delegation. In particular, the delegation got familiarized with the drafting of the legislation, preparation of the draft laws and rules of their adoption, the order of the budget adoption and the details of the budget analysis in the State of Connecticut. The members of the delegation also took part in the parliamentary hearings.

As an honor of the Armenian Delegation during this week the RA state flag will flutter on the main building of the legislative body.

The visit continues: in the coming days the delegation will get acquainted in detail with other functions of the legislative body of the state.
