RA NA Delegation Meets with the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic

On March 9 the delegation led by the RA NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov being in the Czech Republic with the Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jan Bartosek.

The NA Vice President expressed conviction that the Armenian parliamentarians' visit would be an additional impetus for the further strengthening and development of the Armenian-Czech relations, particularly for the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Eduard Sharmazanov has registered that in our days the role of the parliamentary diplomacy is rather inclusive in the world processes, the role of the parliamentary friendship in the development of bilateral ties. He has expressed satisfaction related to the high level existing in the inter-parliamentary relations, considering necessary to more enliven the parliamentary cooperation, in the bilateral format, as well as from the view of supporting each other in the international platforms.

The NA Vice President has reaffirmed that Armenia goes on remaining committed to the European values and principles, as well as is resolute to expand and deepen together with the European counterparts the process of the institutional reforms aimed at the continuous strengthening of democracy, human rights and rule of law.

Referring to the NK problem the NA Vice President has noted that Armenia is for the exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict. He has deemed inadmissible the efforts of the military solution of the problem by Azerbaijan.

The NA has highly assessed the balanced position of the official Prague in the conflict. The NA Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic in his turn has underscored that he is for the peaceful settlement of the NK problem.

The NA Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies has noted with satisfaction that the series of exhibitions dedicated to the Armenian Genocide start from the Czech Republic.

At the end of the meeting Eduard Sharmazanov invited Jan Bartosek to visit Armenia.
