On November 25 in Saint Petersburg the meetings of the Expert and Research Centers adjunct to the CSTO PA Information-Research and the CSTO PA Council, where the RA National Assembly deputy Khosrov Harutyunyan took part, were held.

On the next day the joint session of the Permanent Commission on Defense and Security Issues of the CSTO Member Nations adjunct to the CSTO PA and the authoritative bodies of Counteracting of Illegal Turnover of the Drugs was held, where the Chairman of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan took part. At the session a joint declaration was adopted, by which it called on to the parliaments of the CSTO member states to harmonize the legislation counteracting the illegal turnover of the drugs.

After that session the international scientific-practical forum entitled “The Current Situation of the Legislation Concerning the Control of the Turnover of the Drugs, Psycհօtropic Substances and Precursors” followed, during which a draft declaration was adopted.

On November 27 the session of the IPA CIS Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation was held, where the RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan and the NA deputy Rubik Hakobyan took part. During the meeting a number of issues were debated, among them the statement “On the Necessity of Stopping the Economic, Financial and Transport Crisis in International Relations,” which submitted the RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan.

The item of the election of the Chair of the Commission and other organizational items were included in the agenda of the meeting of the abovementioned Commission. The Commission Chair was elected the RA NA deputy Khosrov Harutyunyan.

In Tavricheskiy Palace the session of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Economy and Finance was held, where the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, the Chair of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Economy and Finance Vardan Ayvazyan took part and made a report on model bill “On Public and Private Partnership of the CIS Member States.” The NA deputies Aghvan Vardan and Araik Hovhannisyan took part in the meeting of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights.
