On October 15 the next sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan was held.

After approving the agenda a number of draft laws, which will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the sixth session and the upcoming four-day sittings, were endorsed.

The Committee in the first reading has debated the legislative initiative “On Amending the RA Law on Turnover Tax,” which was submitted by the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan.

The Committee in the third reading has considered and endorsed the draft laws “On Industry Policy” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty” in the second reading, which will be included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming four-day sittings.

The Committee in the first reading has debated and endorsed the package of draft laws “On Tax Exemption on Border Rural Communities Activity,” “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes” and “On Amending the RA Law on Value Added Tax” and envisaging amendments to a number of laws conditioned by it.

The Annual Activity Programmes of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission for 2015 and the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition for 2015.

During the debate by the Committee members’ decision the legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on Trade and Services” and “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements” has been postponed, and the debate of the draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Excise Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on Restoration of the City of Gyumri,” and “On Amending the RA Law on Value Added Tax” was postponed by one year.
