The RA National Assembly Presidnet Galust Sahakyan congratulated the Shant TV Company on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary of its establishment. The congratulatory address reads:

“I congratulate the Shant TV Company and its staff on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary of its establishment. Being almost the peer of our state the Shant TV Company has also become the guide of its nowadays history, taking part in documenting that history. During 20 years the Shant TV Company has affirmed its specific creative style in the TV air with the public-political various palitre, thematic programmes, professional staff members. Having been created as a regional company, it has extended its broadcasting coverage and TV audience through many years, genuinely becoming country-wide from creative and technical aspect, at the same time collecting the TV viewers’ wide cercle in Armenia and beyond its borders.

The rhythms of the Shant TV Company’s life and that of our country coincide, which means that the TV Company permanently functions in conformity with time, feeling the procedure of events, being at the centre of those events and passing them to the TV viewer, creating with him/her an atmosphere of trustful relations, not only reflecting balanced processes, but also forming a public opinion and moral guidelines. During the last two decades the Shant TV Company has become one of the most weighty participants of the Armenian TV market having its contribution to the establishment of statehood and formation of civil society due to its innovative approaches, creative and professional skills, technical equipment and wide specter of TV programmes.

Once again congratulating the Shant TV Company on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary I wish you new interesting projects, new creative ideas and continuous progress, and optimism, welfare and new achievements to the whole staff of the TV Company,.”
