On October 2 in the National Assembly the press conference convened by Margarit Yesayan, the Head of the RA NA Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie, was held dedicated to the 27^th session of the European Region of the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie.

The Head of the delegation Margarit Yesayan has informed that from September 28 to October 1 in Warsaw the 27^th Session of the European Region of the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie was held, where representatives of the parliaments of 40 countries of the European Region took part. Margarit Yesayan has noted that before the session, the meeting of the Chairs of the European Region was held, where a decision was made for the venue of the next meeting.

Margarit Yesayan proposed her colleagues to visit Armenia in April, 2015 to take part in the events of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The deputy’s invitation was gladly accepted, and a decision was made to hold the next session in Armenia.

In the deputy’s word, the holding of the session in Armenia is unique and important, as the Centennial of the Genocide will be in 2015. And many foreign guests’ visit to Armenia will promote the increase the number of countries, which will accept and condemn the Armenian Genocide.
