At next, September 3 sitting the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government debated and endorsed a set of legislative initiatives, which will be included in the draft agenda of the sixth session of the NA fifth convocation.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Artashes Bakhshyan submitted for the Committee's deliberation the draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Personal Public Service Number ” and “On Amending the RA Law on Community Service.”

The RA First Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan submitted for debate the draft law “On Financial Equalization.”

On the same day the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Artak Davtyan was convened.

The key reporter Ruzanna Muradyan presented the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Education” in the first reading.

The NA deputy Tevan Poghosyan submitted the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Higher and Post Graduate Professional Education .”

The Committee made a decision to postpone for one year the debate of the bills “On Amending the RA Law on Holidays and Memorial Days,” “On Adults’ Education,” “ Extracurricular Education ,” “On Amending the RA Law on Higher and Post Graduate Professional Education ” and “On State-Supported Educational Loans.” The Committee also debated in the second reading the bill “On Amending the RA Law on General Education.” Then the RA Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan presented the negative conclusion of the RA Government on the bill “On Theatre and Theatrical Activity” authored by the deputies of the Rule of Law Faction.
