On August 4 the RA NA Vice Presidents Hermine Naghdalyan, Eduard Sharmazanov and the representatives of Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia, Armenian National Congress, Rule of Law, Armenian Revolutionary Federation, and Heritage factions Vahram Baghdasaryan, Stepan Margaryan, Levon Zurabyan, Heghine Bisharyan, Armen Rustamyan, Rubik Hakobyan met with the RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan. The Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan informed the parliamentarians about the Azerbaijani diversion activities and assured that the situation is under the control of the RA Armed Forces.

The RA NA Vice Presidents and the representatives of the parliamentary factions, considering Azeri approach inadmissible, expressed their united position, as well as highlighted the necessity of the society’s and all the political forces’ support to the Armenian army.
