RA National Assembly and the USAID Support to the RA NA Program End the Young Experts’ First and Joint Program

In 2013 the goal of the USAID Support to the RA NA Program (SANAP) and the RA NA Young Experts’ Program was to boost professional capacity building of the RA NA Target Committees, at the same time giving an opportunity to young professionals to take part in the legislative process in Armenia. Out of more than 200 applicants 8 specialists had been jointly elected for taking part in that program. The young experts worked adjunct to the parliamentary committees, making their contribution in preparing researches, political analyses, reports and providing support in organizational issues.

Sean McNally, Chief of Party for the USAID Support to the RA National Assembly Program (SANAP), has noted that the SANAP will continue supporting the young experts’ program, taking into consideration the first program success, and encourage concerned young professionals to apply for that program during the autumn session of the parliament.
