On March 28 in the National Assembly the Roundtable Discussion initiated by the EU Advisory Group to the RA was held on the theme “Administrative Support for EU Integration in National Parliaments - Experiences of the Recently Acceded EU Member States.” The purpose of the Roundtable Discussion is to present the main administrative solutions adopted in the parliaments of the EU member states in order to provide a necessary system of support for the inter-parliamentary activities related to the EU membership.

Ms Kaya Krawczyk, Advisor on EU-Armenia Parliamentary Cooperation (EUAG), and Mr Ilmars Solims, Advisor on EU Approximation and Governance, touched upon the experience of Poland and Latvia, introducing the functioning administrative structures in the parliaments of their countries.

At the end of the Discussion the speakers presented their recommendations for strengthening the administrative capacity of the RA National Assembly.
