On March 27 at Hakob Paronyan State Theatre of Musical Comedy the President of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan attended the annual theatrical Artavazd awarding ceremony, which this time was dedicated to the 90th birth anniversary of the Armenian acclaimed stage director Hrachya Ghaplanyan. The awarding ceremony is held under the auspices of the President of the National Assembly.
The Chairman of the Union of the Armenian Theatrical Figures Hakob Ghazanchyan congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the World Theatre Day, wished them creative full work and ideas, interesting performances and to overcome all the difficulties. He expressed his gratitude to the RA President of the National Assembly, as during the recent years their professional festivity has been marked by this theatrical event taking place by his support. Hakob Ghazanchyan has noted that Hovik Abrahamyan is the only Armenian official that has been awarded Artavazd prize.
Let us note that Artavazd prize is given in 14 nominations.
Artavazd prizes were handed to the theatrical figures recognized as the best in different nominations.
