On March 26 within the framework of the Open Doors Programme of the National Assembly the pupils and the teachers of Yerevan Sos Hovsepyan Senior School N 115 visited the NA.
The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan conducted the open lesson and told the pupils about the NA activities, proportional and majoritarian electoral systems, the Standing and Ad-hoc Committees. Mr Davtyan gladly answered all the questions concerning the pupils, which related particularly to the number of state orders of the higher educational institutions, the rise of the teachers’ salary, the emigration and the programmes of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
In the NA Session Hall the pupils had their photos taken with the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, who talked with the guests, listened to all the problems regarding the school, urged the pupils to study well, effectively use the educational years and get knowledge, noting that the NA doors are always open before the builders of our future.
