Students of Valery Brusov State Linguistic University in the National Assembly

On March 21 within the framework of the “Open Lesson” programme of the National Assembly a group of students and professors of Valery Brusov State Linguistic University have visited the parliament. They followed the works of the NA four-day sittings and met the NA Speaker Samvel Nikoyan.

Welcoming the students the Head of the parliament highlighted these meetings of cognitive nature, introduced them the structure of the legislative body, the peculiarities of the legislative activity, the debate and adoption procedures of the bills.

Then the NA Speaker, in response to the students’ questions, presented the necessity of increasing the women’s involvement in the parliament, developing of economy and preventing emigration through creating jobs.

The NA Speaker also touched upon the priorities of inner and foreign policy of the country, the peculiarities of the legislative work and gender problems.

At the end of the meeting the Head of the parliament has been taken a photo with the students and professors in the NA Session Hall.
