On October 1 The Chairperson of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan emt with the Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Stepan Sukhorenko.
During the meeting the parties discussed problems concerning the European integration, in particular, the issue of the involvement of Belarus in the Eastern Partnership programme. Naira Zohrabyan once again reaffirmed that the isolation of Belarus from the Eastern Partnership programme.could not promote in any way the solution of the existing problems in that country. She enoted that the Armnenian side believed that Belarus should be involved in the Eastern Partnership programme. The parties also discussed issues concerning the presidential elections to be held in Belarus on December 19.
