According to the Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, by the initiative of the Government on August 19, 2008, with a defined agenda, an extraordinary session of the National Assembly was convened.

The MPs approved by voting the drafts of the National Assembly on the discussion of special order of a number of draft laws.

The legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Trade and Services, on Making Amendments and Addendum to the RA Law on Usage of Cash Control Machines, on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Licenses, Making Addendum and Amendments to the RA Law on State Tax Duty, on Making Addenda and Amendment to the RA Code on Administrative Offences, on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Taxes, on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Organizing and Realizing Control in the Republic of Armenia, on Making Amendments and Addendum to the RA Law on Payments of Environmental Protection and Usage, on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Value Added Tax, on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Profit Tax, on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Income Tax, on Recognizing Invalid the RA Law on Simplified Tax, on Making Amendment and Addendum to the RA Law on Payments of Obligatory Social Safety, Realization of Privileges, defined by the RA Law on Defining Privileges of the Payments of Income Tax and Obligatory Social Assurance for Individual Entrepreneurs, on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Accountant Accounting, for the first reading submitted Mr. Aharon Chilingaryan, Deputy Head of the State Tax Service, adjunct to the RA Government.

It was noted that the adoption of the draft is conditioned with the necessity of providing the investment of the more advanced methods of the organization of trade, clarifying the issues of investing CCM (Cash Control Machines) and making strict the means of responsibility, defined by the law for not providing the rules of realization and investment of CCM in the sphere of retail trade, aiming to reduce the cases of violation of these rules by those who are paying taxes.

Deputy Head of the State Service, adjunct to the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed that the kinds of the places of realizing trade, the trade centers and etc. are defined by the RA Law on Trade and Services. He also talked on the organizers of places,  realizing trade, on envisaged amendments to the law on Licensing and other issues. He answered the MPs’ questions, related to the placing order of CCMs, the increase of fines and etc.
