The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, the member of the RA NA delegation to PACE Vladimir Vardanyan was awarded the Sapientia et Veritas Meritorious for Polish Science Medal - Zasluzony dla Nauki Polskiej Sapientia et Veritas.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of Poland Marcin Kulasek handed over the highest award to Vladimir Vardanyan during an award ceremony organized within the framework of a reception held in honour of the participants of the Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
The Sapientia et Veritas Medal of Poland is one of the highest state awards in the scientific field of Poland, which is granted to a person for significant contributions to the development of science, international scientific cooperation, and the dissemination of academic values.
The motte of the medal, Sapientia et Veritas, means Wisdom and Truth, symbolizing the unity of scientific progress and moral responsibility.
We’d like also to mention that Vladimir Vardanyan participated in the work of the meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
