On September 12, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehdi Sobhani, who is completing his mission in Armenia.

Alem Simonyan thanked the Ambassador for his efforts to strengthen Armenian-Iranian relations and to increase the effectiveness of cooperation during his tenure and wished him successes in his future work. Ambassador Sobhani, in turn, thanked Alen Simonyan for the successful joint work cooperation.

The interlocutors also discussed the key topics of the Armenian-Iranian relations, touching upon the inter-parliamentary cooperation and different issues regarding the regional developments.
