At September 11 regular sitting, the National Assembly debated the report on activities of the Corruption Prevention Commission for 2024, which presented the Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission Mariam Galstyan.
According to the rapporteur, the report includes the results recorded by the Commission in the main areas of its activities, statistical indicators, sectoral challenges, as well as future directions for strategic development outlined based on the conclusions.
The report refers to the establishment and strengthening of the public service integrity system, the effective organization of the property, income, expenses and interests declaration process, measures aimed at making the process easier for declarants, the analysis of declarations, the practical application of the party’s financial control function and the recorded results, the steps aimed at preventing risky individuals from entering the state system through the integrity study tool and the main trends recorded in that direction, the implementation of preparatory measures regarding the introduction of the corruption risk assessment institute, the implementation of anti-corruption education and steps aimed at raising public awareness, the vision of the full digitalization of the Commission’s mandate and the results recorded in that direction, the importance of international cooperation within the framework of the corruption prevention.
