At September 9 regular sitting of the National Assembly , the draft law on Making Addendum and Amendments to the law on Justice Academy was debated in the first reading.
As the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Tigran Dadunts presented, it is proposed to remove from the current law the regulations on the payment of scholarships to students undergoing professional training at the expense of state budget funds by the Academy of Justice. It is also proposed to regulate the relations related to the conclusion of contracts with persons involved in the teaching process at the Academy. “The goal is to make the use of state budget funds more targeted and justified, which will allow, if necessary, to use these funds to meet the needs of the Academy and develop its capabilities,” Tigran Dadunts said.
The co-rapporteur, the member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Alkhas Ghazaryan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee on the draft, calling on her colleagues to vote for it.
