It is proposed to remove from the law the regulations on paying scholarships to students undergoing professional training at the expense of the state budget and directly related to it. Presenting the draft law on Making Addendum and Amendments to the Law on the Academy of Justice for debate at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs on September 3, the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Dadunts said.
The draft also proposes to establish that the rector of the academy must also sign employment contracts with persons involved in the teaching process at the academy.
It is expected that the adoption of the draft law on Making Addendum and Amendments to the Law on the Academy of Justice does not envisage a significant reduction in state budget revenues, but a change in expenses is envisaged in the form of a reduction.
The Committee endorsed the draft law debated in the first reading. It is planned to include it in the draft agenda of the upcoming regular sittings of the National Assembly. The Committee postponed the debate of the draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on the Representative for International Legal Affairs for up to 2 months.
