The process of providing or donated to the state-own lands, attached to state or subject to state authorities, will be regulated by the adoption of the drafts, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency of state property management.
At March 4 regular sitting, the parliament debated in the first reading the package of draft laws On Making Amendments and Addenda to the Land Code of the Republic of Armenia, On Amending the law on State Property Management and On Making Amendment and Addendum to the law on Administrative-Territorial Division of the Republic of Armenia, which presented the Chairman of the RA State Property Management Committee Arnak Avetisyan.
According to him, incompliance with the current legislation, in fact, the state owners of state-owned land is the state, but it is deprived of the opportunity to fully manage and own the legislation, and, in fact, no steps are taken to increase the public use or economic circulation. Besides that, plots designed for alienation or further management are given to the possession of the state bodies, on which the Government, on behalf of the Committee, cannot carry out effective management because of not having relevant powers, including the provision of free use or donation to the government.
Lilit Kirakosyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection on the legislative initiative.
