On February 24, the delegation led by the Co-Chair of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee Nils Ušakovs accompanied by the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration, the Co-Chair of the Committee Arman Yeghoyan visited Yerevan State University.

The Rector of the University Hovhannes Hovhannisyan received the guests, then the European delegates met with the students and lecturers of the higher educational institution.

The meeting was held in active Q&A session. The future diplomats were interested in the Armenia-European Union enhancing cooperation.

The European parliamentarians welcomed the Armenia authorities’ aspirations to join the European Union. The guests highlighted the implementation of sustainable democratic reforms in our country.

Issues regarding the security situation in the South Caucasus and challenges in the world were also discussed at the meeting.
