On January 14, the RA NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan received the delegation of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI).
Welcoming the members of the delegation, Ruben Rubinyan noted that Armenia greatly highlights its thousand-year-old friendship with Iran. He noted that in recent years the political dialogue and cooperation had considerably activated between the two countries.
The NA Vice President underscored the importance of the inter-parliamentary cooperation, the activities of the parliamentary friendship groups, considering it also a key platform for strengthening of relations between the peoples of Armenia and Iran.
Reference was made to the security in the region, as well as to the steps being taken for establishing peace.
