On December 19, the deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction Sona Ghazaryan met with different-year students of the International Faculty of Yerevan State University and V. Brusov State University.

During the meeting, reference was made to the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy, the interaction of the National Assembly with inter-parliamentary international structures. The MP spoke about the perspectives for cooperation in various spheres within the Armenia-EU framework, the process of visa liberalisation with the European Union.

Sona Ghazaryan also touched upon the perspectives for Armenian-Turkish relations, the opening of the border between Armenia and Turkey, and the Armenia-EEU cooperation.

The participants of the meeting were interested in regional security issues and the perspectives for the Crossroads of Peace programme initiated by the RA Government.

The MP referred to the functions of the legislative body.
