On December 11, the Head of the Armenia-Ukraine Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Armenia, Hrachya Hakobyan and members of the group Arsen Torosyan and Davit Karapetyan met with Lyubov Shpak, a member of the Ukraine-Armenia Friendship Group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Vadym Ivchenko, a Member of the Verkhovna Rada. The Ukrainian delegation was in Armenia to participate in the 64th Plenary Session of the General Assembly of the PABSEC.
It was noted that Dmitry Mikisha was elected as the new Head of the Ukraine-Armenia Friendship Group. In this context, the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening future interactions at the level of friendship group leaders was emphasized.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of items related to the Armenia-Ukraine relations agenda. They explored the prospects for developing inter-parliamentary ties and highlighted the crucial role of inter-parliamentary partnership in expanding bilateral relations .
