On December 9, in Armenia the Meeting of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) launched, within the framework of which PACE Secretary General Despina Chatzivassiliou-Tsovilis arrived in Armenia. Before the beginning of the Meeting, the RA NA President received the PACE Secretary General and the Moderator, the Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights Pablo Hispan, discussing the organizational issues of the Meeting to be held in the RA NA.

First, PACE President Theodoros Rousopoulos welcomed remotely the participants of the meeting, after which the RA NA Alen Simonyan also made a welcoming speech.
