On December 4, the parliament continued the debate of the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Tax Code and the package of the enclosed presented draft laws.
On behalf of the RA NA Armenia Faction the Secretary of the Faction Artsvik Minasyan noted that the adoption of the draft will have a negative impact on the activities of the small and medium entrepreneurship (SME).
On behalf of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan in his speech emphasized such multi-lateral debates on the issue, called on to vote for the legislative initiative.
The Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan in his final speech touched upon the issues sounded during the debate of the issue, quoting the part of the Government programme referring to the tax system. “In order to reduce the risks of tax evasion, tax planning through artificial transactions between different taxation systems, and disruption of the integrity of the transaction documentation chain, a comparable and fair tax burden will be established between different taxation systems,” the Deputy Minister noted, thanking for debate those, who were interested in the issue.
