The package of draft laws on Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code authored by the Government proposes to transfer the taxation of a number of professional works and services to the general taxation system. In particular, it is suggested to restrict the organization of a number of types of activities in the turnover tax and micro-entrepreneurship systems. The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan said this during the NA regular sitting convened on December 3.

According to the main rapporteur, the initial version of the draft envisaged transferring the taxation of more than a dozen professional works and services to the general taxation system, but after parliamentary hearings and other debates, that number was reduced to 3. They are legal, accounting and financial consulting activities.

The debate of the issue will continue on December 4.
