On September 11, the National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings and ended the debate of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on Physical Culture and Sport.
Afterwards, the parliament debated a number of draft laws in the second reading.
The Deputy Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee (SRC) Artur Manukyan presented for debate the draft law on Addendum and Amendments in the RA Code on Administrative Offenses.
During the period from the first to the second reading amendments of only editorial character were made.
The Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan presented the endorsement of the Committee on draft law.
The draft law with attached legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on State Duty was debated in the second reading.
As the SRC Deputy Chairman Artur Manukyan informed, after passing the draft in the first reading it had not been changed in the content.
Hovik Aghazaryan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
The SRC Deputy Chairman Artur Manukyan presented the package of draft laws on Making Amendment and Addendum to the law on Energy and on Making Addendum in the RA Water Code.
The Government made mainly editorial amendments from the first to the second reading. By the proposal of the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan, the authors made one substantive amendment. Taking into consideration the importance of receiving information, it is proposed to set exceptions on providing information in the tax bodies in two laws. The deputy proposed also to include the information defined by legislation non-confidential, to be provided regarding the organizations founded by the state and local self-government bodies, state or community, as well as participation of 50% and more state ones.
The initiative was debated in the Standing (Head) Committee on Economic Affairs and was endorsed.
