Amendments are proposed in Civil Code: The initiative does not aim to take property rights away from anyone or alienate them from another person

We propose to suspend or put an end to the vicious phenomenon when state-owned properties have been donated or privatized in one way or another by various NGOs, in some cases, by the families of former high-ranking officials who are behind them or who are real beneficiaries, during the past 30 years. later these properties were expropriated. Sisak Gabrielyan said this, presenting the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Civil Code The deputy informed that different private houses or business centres were built instead of great part of those properties.

Sisak Gabrielyan clarified that the initiative does not pursue the goal of taking property rights away from anyone and alienating them to another person.

Alkhas Gabrielyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan presented the positive opinion of the Government.

The draft was debated at the regular sitting of the National Assembly on September 9.
