It is proposed to establish exceptions in terms of providing information to tax bodies
1 / 2

The adoption of the package of drafts is conditioned by the necessity to provide relevant information to the tax body on the part of licensees providing services in the field: The Deputy Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Artur Manukyan stated, presenting the package of draft laws on Making Amendment and Addendum to the Law on Energy and on Making Addendum to the Water Code of the Republic of Armenia for debate to the Parliament.

According to the Tax Code, the tax body is empowered to request from the taxpayers, in accordance with the procedure established by the Government, information about themselves or the taxpayers kept by them, which the tax body uses to carry out its current control, studies and analyses.

Taking into consideration the importance of receiving information, it is proposed to define exceptions in two laws in terms of providing information in tax authorities.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs David Arushanyan presented the viewpoint of the Committee, calling on his colleagues to adopt the legislative package.

The draft law was debated in the first reading at the NA sitting on June 11.
