The delegation of the Armenia-Germany Friendship Group of the RA National Assembly had meetings with the representatives of the Government of Hamburg during the visit to the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG).
During the official meeting with the Hamburg Minister of Finance (Senator of Finance) Andreas Dressel issues regarding the perspectives of the development and deepening of the Armenian-German modern political relations were addressed. Issues of strengthening the cooperation in financial, economic, energy and tourism spheres were discussed. The importance of the steps aimed at boosting of cooperation with federal lands of Germany was underscored.
The participants of the meeting underlined the importance of initiating practical steps necessary for fostering the cooperation in the spheres bilateral interest.
The delegation of the RA National Assembly also had a meeting with the Hamburg Minister of Transport Anjes Tjarks (Senator of Traffic). The interlocutors touched upon the problems existing in the sphere of public transport and the ways of their overcoming, underlining in that issue the importance of the study of the international best experience.
Anjes Tjarks informed the members of the RA National Assembly delegation that in 2025, Hamburg will host the Global Public Transport Summit Hamburg 2025 and invited the Armenian partners to more actively take part in the Summit.
