On March 6, in the National Assembly the Head of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Hayk Konjoryan, deputies of the Faction Babken Tunyan and Mikayel Tumasyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Sergei Kopyrkin.
Hayk Konjoryan drew the Ambassador’s attention to the sabotage attack carried out in Nagorno Karabakh (NK) by the armed forces of Azerbaijan, as a consequence three officers of the NK Police, and one was wounded. It was noted that it is already the 85th day that the Lachin Coridor is illegally blocked by Azerbaijan, which is a gross violation of trilateral statement. It was underlined that the Corridor should immediately be opened.
At the meeting issues on the RA-RF economic cooperation were also discussed. The cooperation of the representatives of two countries in the inter-parliamentary sphere was highlighted.
