Legislative Initiative Aimed at More Facilitating the Registration Process for Being Engaged with Business

The necessity of the adoption of the draft is conditioned by more facilitating the registration process for being engaged with business in Armenia. The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan said about this.

On December 7, at the RA NA regular sitting the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on State Accounting of the Legal Persons’ Separated Sub-divisions, Institutions and Individual Entrepreneurs, the Legal Persons’ State Registration and on Companies with Limited Liability authored by the Government were debated in the first reading.

The amendments being proposed by the package of drafts are aimed at ensuring the modernization accessibility of the services being rendered by the state register and as a consequence of them the reduction of the possible of risks caused inconveniences and the increase of the attractiveness of founding business in Armenia.

“The information given by ensuring the Service of the Judicial Department and the Compulsory enforcement also are presented for the state registration the legal entity’s dissolution with the regulations on the absence of the sued and non-completed judicial cases and procedures with the participation of the legal entity. In case of the adoption of the draft, the demand of submitting such certificates is removed, by which the quantity of the presenting documents for the relevant service is reduced, besides, the fulfillment of the principle One Stop, One Window of rendering services adopted by the Republic of Armenia is provided,” Armenuhi Harutyunyan detailed. The status of Legal entities’ state register agency as an Office of the Ministry of Justice, envisaging also provisions of legal successor was also set.

Alkhas Ghazaryan presented the endorsement of the Standing (Head) Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

Emphasizing the necessity of the adoption of the draft, the Chair of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan noted that proposing amendments will more facilitate citizen-state relationship.
