At July 7 extraordinary sitting moderated by Andranik Kocharyan, the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security approved the decision of the Committee to convene parliamentary hearings on the theme “The Creation of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Importance of the Civilian Oversight” in the session hall of the National Assembly on July 12, 2022 at 11:00.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Andranik Kocharyan and the RA Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan will make key reports.

The items on themes “The Proposing Model of the Ministry of Interior Affairs: Fundamental Principles, Functional-Structural and Oversight Issues and the International Experience of Creation of the Ministry of Inferior Affairs and Ensuring the Internal, Executive Oversight of Police” were also included in the agenda of the parliamentary hearings.

Afterwards, the sitting behind closed doors of the Inquiry Committee for Studying the Circumstances of the Hostilities Unleashed on September 27, 2020 was held.
