The deputy Alkhas Ghazaryan asked the Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan about the measures taken from the point of view of public awareness to allay the population’s anxiety against a background of the recent earthquakes and tremors.

According to Armen Pambukhchyan, the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection SNCO of the Ministry of Emergency Situations regularly gives training to the staff of comprehensive schools, schools, kindergartens, as well as private institutions, after which evacuation training is mandatory. They pay special attention to teaching of rules of behavior related to the seismic safety.
