I thank France for permanently being next to the Armenian people and supporting them: the Head of Armenia-France Friendship Group of the National Assembly Vladimir Vardanyan noted during the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to our country Anne Louyot held on May 24.

The member of the NA Armenia-France Friendship Group Rustam Bakoyan attended the meeting.

Touching upon the bilateral relations the sides documented that the cooperation between the parliaments of Armenia and France are at high level.

As Head of the NA Armenia-France Friendship Group, Vladimir Vardanyan expressed readiness to deepen the effective cooperation between the Groups.

The interlocutors underlined the key role of the Armenian community in France and noted that it is a special bridge in the Armenian-French multi-polar cooperation.

The Ambassador also highlighted the expansion of the inter-parliamentary cooperation and stressed the close cooperation between the Friendship Groups.

The settlement of the Artsakh problem and the establishment of peace and stability in the region was emphasized.
