The Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service will conduct border control at the state border checkpoints, and the customs bodies – customs control.

The RA Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Tsovinar Soghomonyan presented for debate the proposed addenda and amendments to the Laws on State Border and on Customs Regulation and the related other ones.

In case of necessity to perform state functions, it will also be carried out by the above-mentioned bodies. In some cases, it will also be possible to temporarily deploy other bodies exercising control functions at the state border checkpoints.

Tsovinar Vardanyan informed about the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. As a result of the adoption of the initiative, the economic entity will be in contact with one state body at the customs checkpoints.

The package of draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Civil Code and on Making Addenda and Amendment to the Law on State Registration of Rights to the Property authored by the deputies Babken Tunyan, Narek Zeynalyan, Lusine Badalyan and Hayk Tsirunyan, the legislative package envisaging amendments to the Laws on Gambling Games, Internet Gambling Games and Casinos and on Lotteries authored by the deputies Gevorg Papoyan and Tsovinar Vardanyan, the draft law on Amending the Law on Targeted Use of Environmental Tax Paid by Companies authored by the Government were debated in the second reading.
