The Anti-Corruption Committee works overloaded, which cannot but reflect on the quality of the case examination: the Deputy Minister of Justice Arpine Sargsyan at May 17 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the Government being debated in the first reading was revised for lightening the load of the cases existing in the Anti-Corruption Committee and for decently and with quality implementing the pre-examination of the corruption alleged crimes through making them manageable. “In fact, the corruption crimes committed by the officials will be left to the Anti-Corruption Committee, and the private cases will be transferred to other bodies, particularly, the Investigation Committee,” the Deputy Minister said.
