On January 17, within the framework of the Open Lesson programme, the parliament again opened its doors. The guests of the day were the students and the teachers of Levon Khechoyan N 10 High School of Hrazdan City.

The guests observed the work of the legislative body from the box of the NA Session Hall, were in Parliament Museum and Library. The deputies of the Civil Contract Faction Lilit Stepanyan and Alkhas Ghazaryan met and talked with them.

The MPs presented to the students the activity of parliament, the process of the law revision, underlining the factor of the work responsibility.

The meeting went on in the Q & A format. The guests, particularly, were interested in the programmes aimed in the development of the education sphere. They also voiced the issue of the school renovation.

The deputy Lilit Stepanyan considered as a priority the issue of increasing the teachers’ salary, assessing their role in having educated society. Alkhas Ghazaryan also informed that from this year the scientists’ salary had increased. She expressed hope that it would promote to more efficiently use the scientific potential, boosting the young people’s involvement in the sphere of science.

The issues of the development of economy, agriculture and other spheres were also touched upon.
