Open Lessons in National Assembly

On December 9, the pupils and teachers of the Basic School N 45 in Yerevan visited parliament within the framework of the Open Lesson programme.

The guests followed the works of the NA sittings, visited the museum and the library of parliament.

The deputies of the Civil Contract Faction Lusine Badalyan and Alkhas Ghazaryan met with the pupils of the Basic School N 45 in Yerevan. They presented the structure and the activities of the legislative body.

During the Q&A, the schoolchildren were interested in changes in the field of education and heard the deputies’ opinion on the high school. According to Lusine Badalyan, the existence of high schools in our country is conditioned by the fact that they meet the international educational standards.

The deputies have informed that different educational programmes will be carried out in the near future. They urged the schoolchildren to study well and when choosing a profession, be guided by their heart.

At the same day, the students of the faculty of Law in the Eurasian International University in Yerevan visited parliament.

The deputies of the NA Civil Contract Faction, the members of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Lilit Minasyan and Artur Davtyan held the regular Open Lesson.

The speakers highlighted the role of educated, knowledgeable and developed specialists especially in the development of law.

The students’ questions referred to political, economic and legal fields, the problems for the prevention of the pandemic etc.

Artur Davtyan urged the students to specialize in the fields of civil law and intellectual property, as those professions are in demand in the labor market today.

Touching upon the regional issues, Lilit Minasyan underlined the necessity to open infrastructure. In the prevention of the pandemic, the NA deputy highlighted the wearing of masks and vaccination.

The deputies stressed the importance of targeted activities of the legislative and executive bodies, the political forces, the NGOs and the individual citizens for the future of the country.

The speakers wished the students to become a full citizen of the country.
