At October 28 NA sitting, the deputies debated in the first reading presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Karen Trchunyan the addenda being proposed to the RA law on Military Service and Serviceman’s Status authored by the Government.

Article 67 of the law is added with the new part: “The state provides tuition fee full compensation in the form of student’s allowance for the students of the payable system of the educational institutions accredited functioning in the Republic of Armenia, who have obtained a status designed by the part 1 of the same article during education by the order established by the RA Government.”

In his co-report, the member of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Hakob Aslanyan voiced the endorsement of the Committee.

In their speeches the MPs welcomed the initiative and presented a number of proposals.
