The Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the RA National Assembly Arman Yeghoyan had meetings with the Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Emigration Vito Rosario Petrocelli and the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Chamber of Deputies Piero Fassino and the Committee members.

The perspectives of the further development of the relations between Italy and the European Union (EU), a number of opportunities of cooperation between the Committees within the framework of the Twinning Project, as well as issues on the cooperation on the parliamentary different platforms were discussed.

The sides have recorded that the EU and Armenia fight hand in hand to overcome of the COVID-19 pandemic, which gives an opportunity to resume the former regular work, for more rapprochement of the inter-parliamentary cooperation.

After the exchange of ideas through Q & A session the MPs touched upon the Nagorno Karabakh problem, the boosting of the economic relations and the establishment of the Italian organizations in Armenia.
