The members of the Armenian delegation being in Rome led by the Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the RA National Assembly Arman Yeghoyan, the NA Chief of Staff-Secretary General Vahan Naribekyan met with the Head of the Italian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Marta Grande the day before.

During the meeting issues regarding further close cooperation of PACE Delegations of two countries were discussed, especially the strengthening of the peoples’ relations of Armenia and Italy with the history of millennia on the parliamentary that important platform was underlined.

The Committee Chair Arman Yeghoyan expressed readiness to regularly provide Ms Grande necessary whole information on the regional developments.

The NA Deputy Chief of Staff Heghine Khachikyan and the Head of the Armenian side of the Twinning Project, expert Mari Manukyan also took part in the meeting.

Let us remind that the RA NA representatives are in Parliament of Italy within the framework of the Twinning Project Strengthening of Capacities of the ‘Strengthening of Capacity of the RA National Assembly to Further Support the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) Oversight and Implementation’ financed by the European Union.
