Today, the President of the RA National Assembly Alen Simonyan had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.

The activity of the National Assembly during this responsible and hard period for the state was highlighted, and it would promote the solution of the challenges facing our country and problems.

Agreeing that in the conditions of the parliamentary government system the National Assembly is reserved a great role, thus a rather voluminous work is expected, the interlocutors emphasized the active work of the parliament in the law-making sphere, as well as in the parliamentary diplomacy.

During the meeting issues on cooperation between the presidential and parliamentary institutes also were also discussed.
