The NA Deputy Speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the Armenia Faction and the deputy of the Faction Aram Vardevanyan participated in the parliamentary briefings following the regular sittings of the RA National Assembly.

The NA Deputy Speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan has underlined that the security crisis is not overcome in Armenia and has new manifestations. It was referred to the deployment of a police checkpoint by Azerbaijan on the Goris-Kapan strategic road. Ishkhan Saghatelyan noted that at the beginning of the NA session their Faction proposed to invite the NSS Director and the Minister of Defense to parliament to debate the issue at the closed sitting. He added that despite the agreement reached with the NA leadership, that meeting was not held yet.
