1 / 20

On September 14, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings, debating the issue of electing a member of the Corruption Prevention Commission.

The Secretary of the NA Armenia Faction Artsvik Minasyan highlighted the activities of one of the institutes of the anti-corruption policy – the Corruption Prevention Commission. According to him, the international experience shows that the political opposition should play a central role in the effective fight against corruption, as a restraint ring.

In her final speech, the candidate for the member of the Corruption Prevention Commission Mariam Galstyan thanked the MPs for the interesting, substantive and concerned debate. Referring to Artsvik Minasyan’s concern that the governing wing dominates in the council, the candidate has noted that in her opinion, a balanced approach is shown. Related to the formation of the anti-corruption way of thinking, Mariam Galstyan has stated that all of us can change the reality with our way of living.
