On August 3, during the first session of the NA eighth convocation, the item of electing NA Vice Presidents was debated.

The deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction Tsovinar Vardanyan presented the biographical data and activities of the candidate for the Vice President of the Parliament Hakob Arshakyan.

Congratulating the newly elected deputies Hakob Arshakyan thanked the faction for nominating him as a candidate.

“I consider the main vision of the parliamentary activities as the content synchronization of the programmes of the Government with both the pre-election programme of the ruling force, and the strategy of the opportunities for the development of Armenia,” the candidate for the Deputy Speaker noted.

Hakob Arshakyan has underlined that he also considers the opportunities for the development of parliamentary diplomacy and international partnership in the abovementioned logic.

The candidate answered to the deputies’ questions too.
