Number of Financial Obligations of Individual Entrepreneurs to be Reduced
1 / 6

On May 19, the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security debated the draft law on Amending the Law on Compensation of the Damages Caused to the Servicemen’s Life or Health During the RA Defense authored by the deputies Gevorg Papoyan and Artak Manukyan. Gevorg Papoyan informed that the numbers of the defined annual amount of the stamp duty were changed in the presented revised version for individual entrepreneurs.

In the past, in case of a calculation base for up to 1.2 mln AMD, 18.000 AMD has been annually paid, and in case of a calculation base for up to 2.4 mln AMD, it is proposed to pay 18.000 AMD by the draft law. In case of a calculation base for up to 2,4-6 mln AMD, it is proposed to set 24.000 AMD instead of 66.000 AMD. In case of 6-12 mln AMD calculation base, 102.000 AMD has been envisaged by the current regulation, and it is proposed to set 48.000 AMD by the draft law. In case of 12 mln AMD and more, it is proposed to set 12.000 AMD instead of the designed 180.000 AMD.

Presenting the amendments in detail, Gevorg Papoyan has noted that as a result of the adoption of the draft law, the amount of the financial obligations of individual entrepreneurs will be essentially reduced

The co-rapporteur Hayk Konjoryan stated that the proposed amendments will alleviate the financial burden of the citizens and the individual entrepreneurs who receive high and average salary.

The RA Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan has noted that the executive body has no objections of principle character on the draft law.

The committee endorsed the draft law.

The debate of the legislative draft law on Private Search Activity authored by the MPs Artur Davtyan and Alen Simonyan was postponed up to two months.
