On January 20, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings, passing by voting the bills debated on the previous day.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan presented for debate the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Principles of Implementation of Tax Policy on Tobacco Product Excises of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States, which was signed in Saint Petersburg on 19 December 2019.

The RA NA Head Committee endorsed the Agreement.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan presented for debate the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Local Duties and Payments with the enclosed legislative package.

Afterwards Vache Terteryan presented the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Trade-Economic Cooperation in the Sphere of Oil Product Supply to the Republic of Armenia between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Armenia and noted that the document was signed on 16 July 2020.

Babken Tunyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on the Agreement.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Local Self Government with the enclosed package authored by the RA NA deputies Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Narek Zeynalyan and Koryun Mkrtchyan was debated in the second reading. The NA Head Committee and the Government endorsed the package.

The parliament considered the draft law on Ratifying the Basic Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Green Climate Fund, which was signed on 11 December 2018 in the city of Katovice, Poland.

The parliament debated the draft law on Amending the RA Land Code for passing it in the second reading and completely.

The NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment endorsed the Agreement and the draft law.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Land Code presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan, was debated in the first reading.

Meri Galstyan presented the positive opinion of the Head Committee.

The parliament considered in the first reading the package of the draft laws on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Approval of List of Goods Imported by Organization and Private Entrepreneurs That Have '0' Customs Duty Rate and are Not Subject to Excise Taxation and For Which Value Added Tax Shall Not Be Calculated and Collected by Customs Authorities and on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avanesyan presented the necessity of the amendments to the package of the draft laws.

Tsovinar Vardanyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, urging her colleagues to vote for it.

The RA National Assembly passed the considered draft laws by voting.

At the last sitting of the day, in accordance with the constitutional law the NA Rules of Procedure, the members of the Government answered the deputies' questions.

Covering the agenda, the National Assembly ended the work of the regular sittings.
